Youth Movement NDENGELWA SUB-PARISH

a) Spiritual Activities

• Have Youth Small Christian Community, where they visit each member per Sunday and have their prayers, Bible reading and sharing. • Monthly recollection. • They attend and participate in National and Diocese mass twice and parish once every year. • Participate in Liturgy: readings and lead the mass. • Some especially Junior Youth are in Legion of Mary.

b) Income Generating Projects

• Individual projects.
• Personal contribution towards group projects.
• Do casual work at times as a group for their income.
• Group contributions as they meet for their prayers to boast their projects.
• Sell candles, rosaries and crucifixes.
• Grow vegetables for sale and cereals.
• Poultry rearing.

c) Social Activities

• Attend and participate in Liturgical dance, Choir and other entertainment in the church.
• Participate actively in Parish, Deanery, Diocese and National Youth festivals.
• Have games and sports among them, to other neighbouring sub-parishes.
• Meet every Sunday and have a discussion over a certain topic both Senior and Junior youth that has made many to join the movement and are doing well with their patron.
• Have exchange programmes in other sub-parishes.
