Youth Movement - BUNGOMA SUB-PARISH

a) Spiritual Activities

• Monthly Recollection as a Parish.
• Retreat, once in a year as a Diocese.
• Youth Mass, twice as a Diocese and once as a Parish and Deanery.
• Bible reading and sharing amongst themselves.
• Some are in Charismatic renewal.

b) Income Generating Projects

• Individual projects.
• Personal contribution towards a group project.
• Have “bodaboda” (2 bicycles) that bring funds.
• Take care for bicycles for Christians every Sundays for the 3 Mass and are paid as their project.
• Entertainment during weddings and serving when invited and are paid as a group.

c) Social Activities

• Attend and participate in Parish Youth Meetings (Deanery and Diocese).
• Participate in Deanery and Diocese Youth cultural festivals and competitions as a parish.
• Visits the Youth in other sub-parishes and encourage them (exchange programme).
• Go for tours as a sub-parish, parish and diocese for exposure.
• Entertainments: drama, poems, folk songs in the Diocese as a parish. Have games and sports inter-zonal or sub-parishes.
• Join others in planned works e.g. cleaning of the hospital and visiting the sick in the home and hospitals.
