Catholic Womens Association - BUNGOMA SUB-PARISH

a) Spiritual Activities

• Attend and participate in Small Christian Community activities like:
  • Reciting the rosary together.
  • They read the scripture following the 7 steps and sharing the insights.
• Each of the women at least are in one of the three spiritual groups of the church e.g.
  • Catholic Charismatic Renewal,
  • Legion of Mary
  • Sacred Heart of Jesus.
• Attend and participate in Mass on daily basis or at least Sunday.
• When they have C.W.A meetings they start with prayer and scripture reading and sharing before the discussion.
• Have parish mass once a year.
• Have recollection once a year.

b) Income Generating Projects

• Merry-go-round
• Table banking (Micro-Finance)
• Bee keeping
• Making and selling of table clothes.
• Farming: vegetables, sweet potatoes, peas, beans and millet for sell.
• Print and sell head scarves for the Association. ]
• Chicken rearing
• Buying and selling of cereals.
• Diary farming
• Tree nursery, tree for sale.

c) Social Activities

• They have C.W.A meetings in S.C.C and sub-parish level whereby they discuss, plan and implement some issues raised, each participates.
• Hold meetings in parish level at least once a month, whereby the sub-parish we hold the meeting gives us their sub-parish problems and we try to find ways out, at least each member of different sub-parish give an opinion.
